People who know me well, know how much i am not way much into POP & RnB and how much i like my house music... they also know that i am in different to Arabic Music ... and know very well how much i criticized the cliched Arabic music videos,
so when i get a forward in the morning on facebook about this song called Y.A.S - Get it right and clicked on it ... i was just left AMAZED ... great video, great song .. very artistic ..so without much more introduction the song and video speak for it self... enjoy it below

ReplyDeletewell what can i say i love the club purple and they filmed part of it... i like how there might be an undertone .. where like they start video with the starwars theme where the launch of arab spaceship is supposedly a very important event, which is happening in the most populous arab city, i like the fact that count down is done in some weird way where is like 1.2.3.4.5.6&6 is 12 like even in the count down is not right.. then title of the song is like GET IT RIGHT.. i just cant help think is there a hidden meaning in the song where she is telling the arab world please you got something important... everyone is watching ... even foreigners on the Egyptian streets ... please dont fuck this up for us... obviously thats not the real meaning of the song... or the video but thats how it just translated with me

ReplyDeleteI used to be like that as well always looking for the hidden meanings in many movies ,songs,clips etc, however i realized later that with very few exceptions the makers usually did not mean that , so I am trying to stop doing that or else Jad's clip when they were dancing on the tanks will be one of the greatest in my book :))
